Platform Building

This blog, apparently, is my Internet Platform. As I try to turn my blog into more of a writing blog, I'd like to extend that platform; build it, if you will.

There is some kind of platform-building networking writing campaign, called the Fourth Writers' Platform Building Campaign. I know.

The idea sounds pretty interesting, though. Its main purpose is taking all the start-up writing bloggers and forcing them to communicate with each other (so far as I gather, anyway).

So is this some kind of gimmick to force everybody to pretend to like each other so as to increase our follower count? Well, I for one am not planning on pretending to like anybody, so no. I'm looking at it more as an opportunity and excuse to go read bloggers I may end up liking quite a bit. And hopefully others read my blog and decide to like it, as well.
